For low budget accommodation near Porthtowan, look no further! Porthtowan Backpackers is a small, friendly, family-run place, ideal for surfers, body boarders, walkers, backpackers and students. On Cornwall’s North Coast it is only 300 yds from a blue flag beach, one of the best for surfing in Cornwall. At high tide there’s lots of sand and at low tide you can walk to Chapel Porth, St. Agnes with a really nice cliff walk back to Porthtowan. Shops and bars are a short walk away.
Accommodation comprises a 6 bed room, 4 bed room, double room, and a family room with single bed and triple sleeper (single bunk above a double bed). All rooms ensuite. Also: a communal lounge with 42” TV and kitchenette; storage for surf boards and wetsuits; car parking; roof deck for sunbathing and a barbeque area.
