Balintraid House is a rambling house in a beautiful location looking directly out onto historic Cromarty Firth.
It offers a comfortable alternative to staying in Inverness when driving north or west, or an ideal location to base your Highland holiday.
Locally you can see dolphins, seals, swans and migrating birds in the firth. Take a short drive to Shin Falls or Rogie Falls and see salmon leaping up the waterfalls.
Explore the Pictish Trail, sample whisky at nearby Glenmorangie or Dalmore Distilleries and enjoy walks to the Fyrish monument, Ben Wyvis and numerous others.
Discover original Caledonian forests at Glen Affric.
Visit a castle or two.
Relax to traditional feis or other music at local venues and hotels. Facilities include a well-equipped kitchen, central heating, warm duvets and comfy beds, internet access, table tennis, musical instruments and small library. Free range eggs available, and tea/coffee.
Please note: we have cats.
